Meet Dr. Wong

Dr. Wong is a native of the Pacific Northwest, born and raised in Auburn, Washington. He received a Bachelor of Science(BS) in General Science from Seattle University, cum laude, and Doctor of Dental Surgery(DDS) from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Wong completed a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he refined his skills in general dentistry, implant placement, oral surgery, periodontics, and oral medicine. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania, completing his training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. There he treated children and adults as well as completing cases involving orthognathic surgery. He received the Department of Orthodontics Outstanding Research Award and has his research published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Dr. Wong is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, the Seattle-King County Dental Society, the Eastside Treatment Planning Seminar Study Club, and an Orthodontic Study Club. He has been an auxiliary faculty member at the University of Washington School of Dentistry since 2004. He is married to Dr. Alicia Wong who is a pediatric dentist practicing next door to him. Dr. Wong enjoys nature and the outdoors, having spent many years as a Boy Scout, and achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. He and his wife enjoy traveling, appreciate modern art and architecture and have a black pug named Mochi.
