Dr. Wong is Your Preferred Invisalign Provider in Bellevue, WA
Invisalign treatment uses a series of clear aligners that incrementally move teeth to the proper position with each new aligner. It can be used to correct many malocclusions, including crowding, gapped teeth, a deep bite, edge-to-edge bite, an open bite, and a narrow arch.
Benefits of Invisalign
- The aligners are clear, almost invisible on your teeth, so no one knows you are in orthodontic treatment.
- The aligners are removable, so you can eat what you want while in treatment.
- There are no brackets or wires with Invisalign so you can brush and floss your teeth as you normally would.
- Invisalign can be used with AcceleDent® Optima™ to shorten treatment time and increase comfort.
At Dr. Wong's office, we strive to start Invisalign treatment as quickly as possible. This means once treatment is determined, our office checks with your dentist to make sure any necessary dental work is complete. When you're ready to start, we take digital scans of your teeth using the iTero digital scanner. Soon after, Dr. Wong receives the ClinCheck of your teeth. Once approved, your aligners are made and sent to our office. You're ready to begin your Invisalign treatment!
We make adjustment appointments quick, but of course, if you have questions along the way, adjustment appointments are a great time to check in with Dr. Wong. During these appointments, Dr. Wong will also check the fit of your aligners and provide you with the next several sets of aligners.
To ensure successful Invisalign treatment, it is necessary to wear your aligners for 20-22 hours per day, taking them out to eat your meals and snacks, drinking anything other than water, and brushing and flossing your teeth. If you lose or break an aligner, please call our office as soon as possible so we can help you stay on track.
Depending on your unique smile situation, Invisalign offers several treatment lengths ranging from a few months to a year or more. Dr. Wong will discuss with you how many aligners and the length of treatment to best achieve your orthodontic goals.
